ok, some total noob questions as ive never dun 3d modelling before - just wondering what programs i shud be using? i want to able to model, texture and animate models and then import the to dbpro - ive heard bits about milkshape, truspace, animator and lithunwrap but im not sure which i shud be using and in which order!

if ne1 cud clarify this it wud be great, thx

ok cheers - but how do i get a .x or .3ds out of milkshape? does lithunwrap deal with that?

yeah, lithunwrap imports and exports tonnes of stuff, i use truespace so i use lithunwrap for converting .asc and .cob files, and I have tried milkshape by I find it has too simple editing tools (thats just my opinion though, everyone else thinks its great so it must be).

In milkshape Go File>Export>DirectX(JT) And it will save the model as a .x To export as 3ds, its File>Export>Autodesk3ds
