When I test a game, it can be up to 20 minutes while it deletes test-level. Is this normal? I usually end up ending the program abnormally, and then restarting it. It's much faster.

My system specs, if this helps:

Athlon 64 3500+
1 GB RAM
450 GB Hard drives, ~150 GB free
NVidia ti4600 w/128MB RAM (with latest drivers)

My Computer doesn't do that

and specs: 1.66 Ghz and 512 mb RAM and 200 GB HD and AMD Athlon XP 2000+. and all the latest drivers. But while I run the game, its quite laggy, but it deletes the test level in about 5 seconds.

I will say running the game is super-smooth. I just can't figure out why i have this delay. Sometimes, it will only take 2 or 3 minutes; but it's usually longer.

You have soem kind of spyware in there, or "something" that delays you from getting hte proper speed. Try Refragmenting your hard drive.

Drive is defragmented. No spyware. I do not have similar delays with any other program. I am trying to find that "something" though.

Hmmm. Meaby you should close some of those adult windows. Those open alot of popups and slow down your performance . (just kidding)

Is this with the message on screen saying deleting level or does it come out of that and take time before showing the Loading message?

It sits at the screen saying deleting level. Once that goes away, everything runs normally.

As far as size, it doesn't seem to matter. I loaded a couple of the included levels and it does that on those. I have even tried creating a 2 room level to see if size was a factor; but no noticable difference. It almost seems that my computer "forgets" it is running it, and then remembers after a while.

OK, I just installed the game on my laptop; which is a P4 3.06 MHz machine; and I do not have the delay. Only has 32 MB Vidio RAM; but looks pretty good considering that. I wasn't sure it would run correctly. Obviously, there is something with my desktop that is causing the delay. I don't know if it is because it is an Athlon 64; or whether it is something else. Time to experiment!

I may have found the problem. Just don't know the solution. If I disable my Anti-virus program, McAfee, it works as expected. Leaving it enabled and I can't get out of testing for a long time.
