hi.. has anyone else experienced this... when i design a new level, then run test level, it stops and you sometimes get this error screen (image atached), if i click ok, it runs ok...

any ideas..

i dont have visual c++ loaded...... it is on a hard drive somewhere, but i havent installed it as part of this windows install.

any ideas..thanks aain

@maxd, after a quick google, it seems this may be cause by things not being registerd properly, did you have any problems during the install of FPSC?

no problems during install...only when loading FPSC, it takes quite a few attempts to get it loaded/started befor i can play with it. it give an error, i have to click to exit and it produces a black screen which i have to hit escape, i have to repeat this several time before it eventually loads (has been reported in another thread by myself and others

should i reinstall it..?

Have you reported this startup problem via the support channel? It sounds like there is an overall problem that is causing these issues and needs more looking into.

i think someone else already has, it appeared on the forum soonafter FPSC was released, ill check and let lee know..

maxd, it's best if you report as well as TGC may not know you are suffering the same problem, if you use:

Then it will get logged in the support system.
