FPSC Classic Product Chat / reloading with alt or delete

i have tryed changing my reload key to alt or delete and it will not work i can change it to m why is this i have even tryed emailing richard he told me to post it so plz respond? is this a bug

To do this after you compile your final game go to the setup config open it up this will be in your folder with your game's .exe, go down to where it say's

[GAMEPROFILE]

key1=17
key2=31
key3=30
key4=32

key1 = move foward
key2 = move backwards
key3 = strafe left
key4 = strafe right
key5 = jump up
key6 = crouch down
key7 = use action
key8 = reload
key9 = peek left
key10 = peek right
key11 = run mode

just change to key to whatever scancode you want to use like in dbc/dbp

for your reload to be alt change key8 to key8=56, for it to be del key change it to key8=83.

If anyone need's to know a scancode for changing there game and doesn't know what they are or maybe just got fpscreator and does not program here's a little app to get the scancode number to any key on your keyboard.

@Zone Chicken...
tried using your app. just sits there doing nothing....how is it supposed to work... (ie just the scancodechecker flashscreen appears and tahts it)

appreciate any help

It doesn't do much it just say's Your Scancode key is on the right, and a 0 on the left.

When you press a key on the keyboard the 0 on the left will change to a number that is the scancode number for the keyboard key you press.

Like pressing up arrow will show 200, and pressing down arrow will show 208, so you can use it to get the scancode of the keyboard key you want fast.

you would then change your setup.config of your fpscreator game to read

key1=200
key2=208

to have arrow keys move you forward and backwards instead of using

key1=17
key2=31

to have w and s keys move you forward and backwards its just for people that want to change keyboard settings from the default to there own.
