Hi i emailed you a bug about using the checkpoints. It has been duplicated by other fpsc users.
I was just wondering if you working on fixing it or if you know it is a bug.
If you havent readed the email then here is the bug details:

First of all the bug only happen if you use player checkpoints and if you have multiple level it start from 2 levels. I builded a game on 3 levels with a player checkpoint in the last level. Now if you hit the player checkpoint and go to the menu via ESC button being game over or complete the game youre back in the menu. Now if you press "New game" again it will start loading the first level again then suddenly it quit the game and give a runtime error that look like this "Runtime error 118 - Array does not exist or array subscript out of bounds at line 6617". I have noticed that if i go to the menu with being game over hit ESC button in the first or second level when i havent hit a player checkpoint the bug dosn`t come. It seems to me like there is a bug with the player checkpoints when being used in EXE files.

This bug should really be looked at.

Thanks

I mean he might get to it, but you should wait until the "Bug Spokesguy" is selected and then bother him with it.

I've confirmed it in my thread (How Official, Ominous has confirmed it in his thread). Don't worry. I'm sure it will be near the top of the list. I'd say that by the end of the week, they'll have some system worked out.

Please also note that just because you find a bug, doesn't mean it's going to fixed anytime soon. My first guess would be the bug fixes would come out late March.

But I do understand that you want to "know" if it is a bug or not.

You've waited 3 days at most! If you want to help matters, be patient and stop diluting the forum with repeat posts that don't help anyone.

Then just wait for it - you've already received confirmation about the flickering lights one, this one will be answered too.

Please be patient so I don't have to restrict your posting rights (this IS classed as spamming).

Personally I would just chalk it up as a bug and move on and not dwell on it.

I am a bit of an ego maniac at times, and having a thread with my name in the title should have drawn my attention but alas, I missed it desite answering every thread on the first page two days running. Ah well. Rich was kind enough to email me on this subject so I can reply with gusto promptness.

It sounds like a bug, it sounds like it has been confirmed by a second party, and it sounds like the kind of thing I would have missed in testing the final EA versions. As it stands, it is a very high priority fix (almost critical), and it also sounds very easy to fix too. I cannot say when a patch will be released, but if you ensure this report makes it to the internal bugbase (public spokesdude hunt continues afaik), it will be fixed before V1.

Ok thanks for the answer!

I will post it in the internal bugbase when the bugbase opens!
