I am using a PIII-750
with 256 RAM
the rendering for 3dmax is so slow! especially that I work on uilding design!
I know that Mac is the best computer for grapgics softwares. is it the solution into make my rendering finishes in 1 hour instead of 3 days! (as an example)

there are not "fast" render'rs for 3DS Max...
however ANY render'r is faster than the native one.

i'd get ahold of the Brazil Beta as that is quite a quick - as is Raygun

lol I didnt explain what www.respower.com is DOH. its an online render farm, the prices are pretty good. My next paid set of renders will be done on this. Basically what took me 4 days for a client to render will now take 7 hours.

yeah... Brazil even with its more complex functions if you set the Brazil buffer to 32px - even with full options its render's 4x faster than Max's
but without and effects Max's own render'r is great.

problem is the render pipeline
fastest render'r you can get is trueSpace (unless you use the 6th row effects )
