I downloaded the "Escaper" game from this site and it only contained the "File"-folder.

The EXE-file and the .ini file was missing!

PS: I'm referring to the "www.fpscreators.com" site by fdecker.

The game is a WWII game lol...
Sorry for the inconvenience - I'm re-uploading the game as we speak, the uploader says that there's only 13 minutes to go.
PS Bloody nice website

I made an amazing discovery

I just copied an EXE-file and an .ini file from another FPSC game.
And it worked!!

The EXE-files is all the same for all the created games!

double o benny,

I didn't test the game before making the d/l link. It's going to help me out alot if people follow the directions too Adding a text file with the name of the game, authors name/nic, genre, and short description would be very helpful.

I tried to add the .txt file sorry... but the only file that actually went into the .zip file was the "file" file. . Anyways, I fixed it and it HAS got a .txt file in the zip.
Sorry again.

OK, is it done uploading now? If so, I'll move it to the WWII section instead and get the d/l link live.

@Petter:

Yes. The engine (the exe) calls the ini files which in turns loads up the media. So basically you don't need to include the 10mb exe file, you can just upload the ini and media content.

@double o benny:

I only found 1 key that only opened the door to the armory and the first door at the end of the room. I can`t find the other one and therefore couldn`t get out of the first room.

The second door key is in the first corner in the armoury, but there is a badly designed lift later on. The lift has both a "Lift base (platform)" and a "Lift Top (Platform)". I got stuck at the top of the lift (in the second platform at the top).

This game is really not worth releasing(sorry to say it) The first bad thing is that the keys is hided too well. The second thing is who on earth should know that you need to push a switch in the bunker to get a door to open you don`t even know about.( I found it out be a lucky guess) Also the enemys have too much energi! It`s impossible to kill them with the magnum. And i also get stucked in the lift. I was wondering how on earth the author completet this level. If he even have tested it.

Also outside the frame rate is slowing down really much.

This game should have been worked much much more on before it`s release.

But if the game was more complete i think it could be really good

OK, thanks for that guys...
Here are a few things I gotta get off my chest:
a) About that lift. On test mode it worked fine!
b) About the keys. The name of the game is "escaper"... thats the idea - it's supposed to be hard to find the keys lol! Oh, and after the lift, there's not much more to go - the rest is easy.
c) About the enemies. Sorry bout that. I'll change it ASAP and re-load it.
d) About the switch. Do you want me to take it off? If so, what shall I do to make the door harder to get to?

Thanks LOADS for your feedback -

I actually agree, needs more thought, even coming from the creator.
I'll try to make it better.

OK, uploading now.
I haven't changed the switch for the study door - I just think it makes it harder.
Please continue the feedback to my game -- and PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT I AM CRAP AT MAKING GAMES...
Thanks

Ohhhhh... crap... I NEED SERIOUS HELP!!!
I even deleted the top of the lift and replaced it with a top of the lift without a platform - NOW it doesn't work on test mode, and also the one uploaded doesn't work. I'm gonna attach the map file and pray that someone will fix it...

I fixed it!

You had a "Lift" entity at the top if the lift that was seperate from the "Lift top" segment.

I had to go into "Clipboard edit" mode to remove it. Mark the "Lift" entity and choose "Cut".

Attaching the new map file (The start position of the player is et infront of the lift)

Hello double o benny. I was going to post a review of your game the same as I did for The Nerds' beta game. But I can't do that. The first time I played it yesterday I managed to find both keys and get into your main level. Then I got stuck in the lift and had to exit the game. What bothered me at the time was the near impossibility of killing your enemies. They were too strong and it was just a matter of luck that I found the second key.

Still, I was going to wait until you fixed a few bugs before playing again and posting a critique. Today I tried again. The second time that I downloaded, installed, and played your game, however, I could not get the second key. Your secret door would not open no matter what I did. I could not get out of the prison compound. Sorry. I did notice that you made it much easier to kill the guard. That was better.

I do not know if there is a bug problem associated with that second key or if I was simply doing things out of sequence, but I finally gave up. It's no big deal though unless you actually want people to be able to play your game. What I am saying is, that as long as you are happy with your game, that's all that really matters. Someone else might be able to get to that second key and tell you what they think of your game.

In the interest of fairness, though, since I can't make your game work for me, I'm not going to top-post a separate game review.

Eternal student in search of knowledge. But will settle for the occasional epiphany.

OK thanks for the feedback and great job Petter.
Everyone's always saying that the keys are too hard to find. Where else should I put them? If they're easy, then the game will take just a matter of minutes to complete - all the entities are very easy to kill and the rest of the level out of the lift is short.
I'm going to upload the new version now...
Keep the feedback coming, guys!

OK, new version uploaded.
I have already tried zipping the file, but it only made it about 200kb smaller...

I would be happy to make some models and textures for the site.

can you tell me the size of the texture are , an in what format do you need ?

what size are the panoramas and what format

what size do the models have to be and can you upload a sample ?.

Keep not your blind eye . Open your heart to what is offered .For YOU are not the final judge . bigH.
