Hi,

If i have an object in the game, that has animation data, but is not a character, how do i trigger it?

Why?

I mean, why not make it an Entity?

I want to write a counterstrike type level, set in an eastern village , and want to add just a few palm trees that have bones animation in them - not very complex mind, and they run in other engines very cpu friendly - so thats why i need to know how to add animated static objects(isnt that a contracdiction... static, animated objects!)
