i am having trouble finding software which i can use to make 3d models to put in my game

I use "Lightwave 8" to make my models.
But for a cheap good modeling application i can
recommend Milkshape.

Here you can find some Great Video tutorials. (with sound)
Take a look at these before you even start using milkshape and
you will learn realy fast how to make your own models.
