is there a way to put lighting in a bsp converted with the dbpro x to bsp compiler? How do i do collision with a bsp?

In the above snippet, what basically happens is that each object has a collision threshold and using SET BSP COLLISION THRESHOLD and SET BSP CAMERA COLLISION you set the tolerance for each object / camera in a level. Generally the index for the collision threshold commands are set as you load them, eg: first object has index 1, second object has index 2 and so on.

In mid-air, the collision level is virtually 0.

in contact with flat ground, it is higher, higher still up steps or slopes, and almost 1 when walking into a vertical wall.

Get quake 3 and download Quarke 6.3. It works a treat.
