Quote: "If you're atheist, you believe you go nowhere after you die--- so sad."
Why is it sad? I live, and so far life has been quite interesting. To quote good ole Monty Pythons: "You come from nothing, you go back to nothing, what have you lost? Nothing!". It's sad for people who never had the chance or opportunities to make their lives interesting.
Quote: "But if there really is meaning to life, and we are here for a reason, which religious people believe, why would someone like you care about death?"
I think the big "meaning of life" question is more about life general.
Quote: "Actually this question goes out to all atheists. Why would you care if people die? I'm not trying to be a jerk--- I just want to know. If there's nothing after life, then what's the point?"
Well, this question more or less implies that people who believe in their afterlife live for just that after life.
Everyone has the right to live. Everyone should be given the possibility enjoy their lives.
After all, it's short enough.
