I can not get ANYTHING from any tutorials to run!

I can do simple text base stuff, but while trying out 3D Stuff, forget it!

Is this a feature left out of DEMO?
OR
A BUG!

Does this work -

If not then it's probably a hardware or setup problem, what DX are you running?

You're using the demo? Many of the bugs are fixed with the latest patch. However it only works on the full version.

If nothing but the text demo works then either your video card cannot hack it (it's too old) or you don't have the latest revision drivers for it. Simple as that I'm afraid.

If the demo he's using is the same one I used back in Novemember then I'm afraid thats not true Rich - I had full and new drivers adn the demo wouldn't do anything at all. However I bought DBPro on the promise of patches, instantly installed patch 3 and viola! 90% of the propblems dissappeared instantly. No change of settings or anything. Simply - the demo was severly bugged in the compatibility sense. I did email DBS serveral times but got no reply about it.

However if the demo hass since been patched then I appologize. However I have not seen any confirmation of this?

Anyway, if it was you who did it Rich, well done the new Pro site design is much, MUCH better

Yes... but I don't think that the compiler is the 3.1 version - just the other files.

I was working on the assumption he was using the 3.1 demo and if that is the case then my original point is, sadly, still true.

Cheers,

Rich

Have you checked that DX9 is actually running properly ?
And what happens when you try to run it ?
