I'm getting that too, with multi-textured multi-polygon graphics...

Good news everyone! I really am THAT good...

DBPro certainly does support multi-texturing - but I think that you have to map the textures once the model has been loaded in DBP - see RGT.

NOBODY has a forum name as stupid as Darth Shader. I do.

That'll be a bit annoying as it means that the graphics and bitmaps will be needed...

Haven't tried it at home yet, but the texture of the ball in the semi-transparent demo just comes out as white...

The image merging routine is interesting, but unfortunately it doesn't put the images over the correct ploygons.

hmm... theres a big misleader to what Multi-Textureing actually is.

Some seem to believe that it is several textures layered upon each other ... for example a sword and then ontop of that you have perhaps a sphere map for the reflection.

And some believe that it is more than a single texture per mesh...

The second of these is actually what Multi-Textureing is, because although the first kinda uses multiple UV Maps (which is the main misleader to believe it is multi-textureing)
it is infact what a Texture Shader is

Ofcourse not to be confused with the other version of that which is done statically (usually on terrain)
Called Layer Shaders ...
OR to be confused with something that appears on the texture which is called a Decal Shader (eg Shadows)

From what i understand DarkBasic Pro's setup of MultiTextureing actually means a Texture Shader is now possible.

especially with the commands suchas "Set Sphere Mapping"
or something to that effect

In that case, its a shame that there isn't a plug-in for Cinema4D to put all the textures on each polygon into one texture - either that or get DBPro to do it...

LMAO @ Toad... thats what UV Mappers are for
Don't worry gameMatrix is having a few bug tests with the "MFC" i've developed - got a working version which can model and uv map similar to Milkshape.

adding animation capabilities tommorrow into Friday, so i'll be passing it around to test on most likely Saturday and Sunday

you'll be surprised what can be achieved in it actually, cause i've added a few simple features like Chamfer
should be fun to see something worth while finally released to the lions den
