Does not seem to work as expected, the sample files are not working correctly anymore.

Excuse the typos in the heading :/

For release in April.

I like how "Mike" says next week followed quickly by "Lee" saying April. Haven't you learned Mike not to give actual dates?

But seriously, you all have done a tremendous job! PLEASE keep up the extellent work!

Considering the guys have got a few days off next week (in lieu of all the massive work they did last week) Lee's "April" is probably the most accurate

As it says on the download page - if your projects vitally require the plugins, don't install 5.8 yet.

So, If that's the case, nobody should install 5.8....

... Unless they don't require plugins...

I can't wait to get working with Advanced Terrain with the new (and by new I mean working)commands.

And there's still a bug with polygon collision that I need to email Mike about I guess.

You are not alone.

Another question that also was posted in the DGSDK forum. Will these expansion packs now work with the DGSDK once they are released?

They can do. The main thing is to set aside some time to set them up. Will see what can be done about this.

Great. I'm in "no hurry" for the DGSDK part, but I would like to see them working with the DBP sometime this month would be nice.

Oddly enough, all the demos(even after recompiling them) and the commands are working fine for me with U5.8. I did download the beta versions of the patches, and I just downloaded my cloth&particles yesterday.

@Mikes

I don't know if I follow you. Are you saying you downloaded the "beta" verison of U5.8 *OR* of the Cloth and Particles Beta (if there is such a thing)?

Now, after stating that, did you just "buy" the Cloth and Particles pack *OR* did you redownload them from your account?

[EDIT]
I agree with you that "some" may work. Here's a quick test. Run the "HALL" demo and see if you see "flame" on the stands. Chances are, they are not there.

Pre Beta 6 works with add-ons, AFAIK.

I'm still working with 5.7 because the enhancement pack and cloth/particles are more important to me. I installed 5.8, messed about, and there are no workarounds as far as I can see.

EZrotate should be fine, because it doesn't use DB functionality. Newton has been reported to be running smoothly. Nuclear Glory is dead in the water at the moment anyway.

Why pick on this particular thread? I think you'll find that no genuine bug reports get locked.
