From the TGC December 2004 newsletter I thought that with the new SDK 1.1 release we could do:

sObject* pBox = dbMakeObjectBox ( 10, 10, 10 );
dbPositionObject ( pBox, 0, 0, 0 );

I looked in the include files and I don't see the support for this. sObject is not even defined. Am I missing something here?

Thanks...

It wasn't finished in time so we figured best to release the upgrade in it's current state with bug fixes and some new commands. This is still being worked on though.

@Mike

What about... the "new" dgDK 1.1?
Will it make it into that one?

it would be nice and all, sure. But I would rather people concentrated on working out the current bugs (collision (which was an easy fix) and please for the love of God, shaders!) etc and gave us that patch before adding the object pointers.

I for one am not going to be using them so I would rather not have to wait for them to be implemented until we get the next patch Especially as the sdk is -fully- functional without them.
