Gah,
I give in!

Quote: "some of them also have lives"

:o
Are you steriotyping us!?
( I for sure that Exeat doesn't have a life... Sitting at his computer all day, hawking the forum, just waiting for someone to say something... ANYTHING... that isn't spelt right! )

Of course, I am joking... ( He sometimes stands too! )

anyhoo,
About what was said before with regard to us Mods just being here to, infact, moderate... That's true... That's what I'm here for. Nothing else, just to moderate ( and be a user, of course ).
But, in doing so, I beleive that I do represent the majority with every post I make, and that includes some sort of weird and warped customer inquiries/complaints/feedback section... If that makes sense?

It is a shame, though, as I have to be alot more carefull with letting some of the jokes fly around!
I mean, I could never pull a Jimmy, for fear of being Shot!

...

Jess.

PS Exeat sometimes paces in his bedroom, hitting refresh on his keyboard as he walks past, just to see if there's something new!

If TGC say, were to allow team requests, thay might have a special
section where the person making a request would have to fill out
an online form with certain fields required to ensure it is a legit
request. That is, that it meets their requirements for such.

lol, sorry David, it wont happen again, I promise!

JerBil,
We've actually discussed this possibility before, but it was dismissed.
It means moderating those full-time still, as well, so we might as well simply bring back the TR board!

We don't want to give the wrong impression with all this, though!
TR's are still accepted, as long as you have proof of your abilities, show commitment, and aren't generally a complete idiot

The TR board was nuked because of the Stigma that had become attached to it where if someone wanted a good laugh and somewhere to vent some anger, they'd head on over and poke fun at someone's idea.

Jess.

I think you spelled it Metel because that's how you thought it was spelled, but then a girl on AIM told you it was wrong and you were embarrased, so you told her it was intentional.

You obviously haven't seen the history between me and Jessie then, he's finally exploded into a fit of rage after all the crap I've given him throughout the past year.

Pfft, "Jessie"? What's that?

And... "History" HA! I *make* history, you're just tagging along to get your name in the credits!

And you call THAT rage?
Wait till I start pulling out the "He eats McDonalds 3 times a day" cracks! That'll show ya.

Seriously though, I'm not actually having a hack at Exeat, just a friendly flirt... I mean... friendly flirt.... yeah....

posts like this distracts the mods from actually monitoring the forum, if the thread author actually bothered to use the forum search, this topic has been covered before several times.

perhaps more users should point users who create the same thread that has probably been talked about to the search bar, really this thread is already a waste of space and time.

two things, i actually agree with someone on tgc for once so i do think this post should burn in deletion. secondly,
Quote: "if the thread author actually bothered to use the forum search, this topic has been covered before several times.
"
what would that do honestly? and i did look in the search for team requests,

Erm, people are always called noobs if they have a forum joined date of practically yesterday. Even if they have like a decade of DB experience. Which, if you were not such a noob, you would know just isn't possible

Ahh that explains why my post was locked oh well atleast i put my contact info up and maybe i'll post some screenies on the game im making in action =)

[edit]

so now that the team request forum is dead...i suppose we just post the request on the type of game we are making IE if its 2d in the 2d forum?

i also have another question, if someone does request a team, will it be deleted or just locked so people can look at it and join if they want to but not reply?

So why don't you just make a flame board and move all bad requests there?

Haven't been following this at all...but these types of threads are usually locked on site(are the not?), so i think it has come to that time.

Also, i think we SHOULD have like a "hall of lame" or something to post all "great" threads as dj mentioned.

well i read somewhere that you can make a team request post and even though it is locked people can still see it and contact you but not reply to the post so if a mod is ganna edit out all info you give that kind of pointless to make the post in the first place and kind of hypocritical.

Edit: not hypocritical but im trying to think of a word.....anyone know of a word that means you say some thing and then go against it?
