is there a converter to import animations and models from .x files that will be readable in milkshape?

No i do not think so.
As far as i know the only model
that you can load with animation in
milkshape is "MS3D" and i do not
think any converter converts x to MS3D.
(with animations intact)

Plz correct me if im wrong.

Milkshape can import direct x files but not with "import" under the tools menu open direct x mesh tools and you can import them that way. However...My milkshape crashes when I use the directx mesh tools in the tools menu and import an x file from fps creator. I've been converting them with "3d object converter 2.10" then I can use them in milkshape, but as it is it seems milkshape hates the x files from fps creator.

yes we all know that you can import x into Milkshape
but he wanted to import x with animation and that is
not possible.
And milkshapes directx tool is realy bad. It screws
up size, rotation and god only knows what else.
I always prefer to use an external converter and
convert the x file into some other format before
importing it into milkshape or lightwave.

thanks guys. looks like i may have to upgrade to a better modeling program. Can you giys suggest one thats cool for FPS creator thats not going to break my wallet in half?
