i was wanting to view the frame delay (time in milisec between program updates) and found an odd problem.

if i use a large sprite (as in Lee's rock demo 1024x1024)
the sprite seems to hide the text. I found a good work around; used a 3D plain as a backdrop instead of a sprite.
But my experiment was to measure actual screen update times in a sprite only game, so that this time could be compared to the same game coded in DB113 (64 milisecs per update with 10 sprites) and with PB (too awsome to compare) or with BB.

What times do you get from PureBasic? I'd be very interested in beating them

Cheers,
