Every time I add a static enitity it turns out white. And when Check the texture file by right clicking ts still there! What should I do!

Make sure that your entities script file has the correct path and texture references.

Its altight now. I think it was a slight glitch in the game because once i reset my computer it works

he i have the same problem...my custom entitys textures show up fine in the editor and the test level, but not in the executable, any ideas?

its a charecter, so it doesnt have a scripted texture...

BULLSHOCK,

Characters in FPSC do indeed have scripted textures. Everything in FPSC without exception is scripted.

If your compiled game is missing some textures, look in the game specific folder locations to see if the textures have been copied there in the compile process.

Occasionally when compiling a game FPSC and other engines too dont always save everything correctly to the game folder, so if anything is missing or does not work correctly its worth checking to see if files are missing and check too that even if they are available that they are the correct ones (in the case of script files particularly).

If anything is missing FPSC will still useually run a level or game and not refuse to do so, but oviously if it cant find something it wont exist in level/game.

If anythings missing from your game folder - then just copy the textures or other files from the default FPSC folders to your game folder (correct folders as specified in script), should work then.

Not sure if thats your problem, but its worth checking for your mising textures in your game folder.

i had always thought that it was my error, not fpsc...
i didnt even think of checking to see if the texture was there!!
