School off tomorrow some people have the luck Two more weeks of exams before I break up Well they've been easy so far...

Keep up da good work during your holidays, have fun as well as programming, some people loose their social life over computers, I would make sure you don't make the same mistake (as others of course, I'm not a comic book guy honest...I don't like comics )

I think the reason for differant leaving times depends on the country really, UK finishes in about 6 weeks, people with exams, under 2 weeks left USA are lucky to have finished now, but from what I was told USA don't get half term holidays

Not always. I'm also in the U.S., but I still have two weeks left of school. However, I'm a special case, 'cause I live on the east coast (Massachusets).

The demo is now on the Net and you can get it here http://dfstudios.dbspot.com/SquirrelWars.rar
It's in .RAR format. I played a little bit and I must say it is a very good inventive game so far. I will continue to play it later though!

Yay I completed it (I think) the car level was cool but you need to add accelaration and stuff to it. The car level was the last level in the demo right? I loved the sinking floor idea. Twas hard trying the get onto that moving platform when you were sinking.

thank you everyone!!! you move so slowly in the car level cuz theres too many objects, but i just looked at the 'how do i speed my game up' thread, so in the next demo it will move faster. as for tha acceleration, it does weird things to the camera, but ill try to figure that out.

special thanks to saberdude, cuz i was starting to think about e-mailing the game to everyone... and that would be stupid...

cheat-ish thing: for anyone who is falling off the moving platform, hold the jump button down and land in the center of the platform, then you'll bounc right up to tha next one. easier said than done.

cool! should that add hardness to the first level, or be stored for some later ones? im open to suggestions from everyone...

also, i got a really weird idea to make the game even crazier than before. you get trapped in this virtual reality helmit and have to do stupid stuff to get out.. some hard, some not. (eg; hard: bounce around moving rotating platforms to the exit. easy: control a dog doing the hokiepokie) comments on the idea, please!
