Manticore Night: well, it depends how big the problem is for me. but i havent used that technique for weeks now, so i call it gone.

Bizar Guy: of course!

Drew: nice one!

Dumbo and Cool: It was a great gameplay idea, and it wasnt very hard to make. Nutt and Shell say hi, and thanks because it is impossible to get through the level without using both.

offset of reality: a new demo? perhaps next week... the new demo will not include everything that i have been working on, but it will include the Dumbo and Cool-like level. also, who am i supposed to not respond to?

everyone: if a new demo does come next week, it will have a few problems...

#1: after you beat the boss, there is no cut scene where all the other acorns cheer for nutt and shell, it will go strait to the credits.

#2: when nutt and shell talk, there mouth movements are slightly cheesy...

#3: like the acorn eater, the squirrel bosses voice doesnt fit. i voiced everyone, changing my voice...

thats about it.

it also depends on saberdude and if he is available...

wow, i just posted a super-post again!

yeah..... theres not much to do now... im just working on acorn city, after that, i optimise and make the levels longer... then the title screen and mini-games... then im done! to completely finish squirrel wars, it will problaby take two to three more weeks, then it'll be tested for a while... i think that altogether it will take me about two and a half months.

Yep, using a five year old program called 'Picture It!'.

And I suppose that every time you have a birthday/complete a game you're going to change your name?

Just tried the demo, and my main complaint would be the nut eaters voice. while I think that nutt's voice is perfect, the bad guys is...nutt's voice, except deeper. I would be more then willing to donate my voice talents to your game, Slightly less young programmer. If you want, I could send a sample...

seppuku: mabey you did!

flindiana jones: yeah, please do! i dont like that voice either. i might need a squirrel voice too, but problaby not cuz i already found someone.

Love it, can't get past the moving platform on the sinking level, cos my montier isn't exactly that bright so I barely saw it, very original I think the nut voice goes very well, i think adults/baddies should be left to someone who's voice has broken, very good though, I can only imagine what the mum's voice is like, it'll remind me of Brians mum on monty python: Life of brian, I mean if thats so, that'll be funny 'He's not the messiah, he's a naughty boy now **** off!' lol

happy late birthday its a new video card now u just have to figure out how to get it off of this forum

hmm i got to download this new demo

ok bugs with just the first level
u sink going backwards, if u go backwards on the first set of stairs u sink(and die) going backwards to where it plays that 1 sound it keeps saying the same thign as if u never went to it

and those frikkin stairs are hard to do because the space key has a delayed response so by the time u jump its already too late

n00bs will be shot on spot...
i need some more ammo there are just too many of them better call in the moderators to help

Hi slightly less young programmer,

I got your email but I can't play the game right now. I read the spoilers and it sounds great; I'll tell you what I thought of it when I try it in a few days.

Yeah I must say something about the voice. Your voice(I assume it's yours ) is good for young Nutt but maybe you should get someone whose voice has broken (Like me! Although im English so my voice would sound out of place )

Nice game! But every time I get to the bird in the virtual reality helment, it exits out...

Also, three sugestions. Take out the disable object z depth on nut. I would be much nicer if you could see how far he'd sunk and all. And in the racing level, the car acelerates way too fast, and definitely goes over fifty. Cut the speed in half or something. And also, make the car turn slower.

Good job otherwise, slightly less young programmer!!

ok, since nobody can get past the hummingbird level, heres a cheat:
hold down all 4 arrow keys at once through the whole thing and it wont quit. ive fixed it so that it wont quit, just say "missed it, ha ha!" in a real snobby voice.

anime blood: dont worry, i just put that there so i would have something to work with.

saberdude: im getting new voices for everyone except nutt, shell, and the announcer.

bizar guy: ok ill take out the disable object zdepth. also, ill slow down the acceleration, but keep the speed the same. ill also change the speed meter. ill make it turn slower, but the speed will stay the same, cuz it seems a little slow...

thanks for the comments!
