I know it will be awhile before Microsoft rips out Directplay, and I still wonder if they intend to offer a newer model once more pieces of Longhorn come out, since the annoucement did seem a little "sudden".

I'm at a good "tween" point in my coding and wanted to reevaluate my network lib's before I got too far down the rabbit hole.

Has anybody tried some of the network lib's available on the Net? like Raknet, SDL, TNL, or some other? I'd like to here you thoughts.

My criteria in my serach is low cost, has bitstreaming, some form of RPC calls, client/server and peer to peer modeling, multithreaded friendly, DLL wrappable.
