Has any one got a tutorial on how to make tga files...

use "Photoshop" or "Painshop pro".
Just open an already existing image and then
save it as a "Tga". (easy as that)
Or use the above mentioned applications
to draw your own image and save that as a ".Tga"

You can make ANY kind of image into a "TGA".
It is an image format just like "JPG" or "BMP".

In FPSC they are used as skins and textures. But you
can also use DDS format but that is not required.
The engine makes a DDS out of your TGA by itselfe
so you don't have to. Just make sure that your ".fpe"
file points to the correct model and tga file.
