the game is with multiplayer, i guess now the man working on the multiplayer.. its realy not simple, i should know that, becouse im making my own RPG with multiplayer..

so when the demo with the multiplayer will b done?

technically its done - just gotta tidy some bugs up (not too mnay). I may have demon ready (MULTIPLAYER ONLY) around 6ish this evening cuz i'm having a flying lesson today!!!

zilch - entirley code - really, it isn't that hard to implement (crucnch time will be the demo ) the code is a sperate module consisting of approx 300 lines and its fully itegrated. To be honest, i think its multisync i only discovered a few days ago after completing the code . I've had a look at it and it wouold have saved me a lot of time - but the satifaction of wrting it all is bettwer

how about a good old vielside RX-8 also:



You could build an option in your game where you can buy premodded cars with kits on like thwe veilside kit above or you could let the user mod it on there own

ohh yeh sspike (so to speak). thats looks damn fine! if u coould model something like that then that would be sweet! I share your idea completely with buying or modding kits

Just got home incidently and wat a day!

you no what a perfect day in england has been today! i did my first fying lesson in a cenessa in blackpool - which was delayed due to the Red Arrows 'parking' on the runway before performing a 60th anniversary of the end of WWII later today. I watched after my lesson - flying is sooooooo cool. I may post sum sly piccy oin this thread next week wen i get them developed
I could see iRELAND AT 2000 feet in the air even from pleasure beach, because it was so clear - i could'nt have picked a better day really - how lucky!
Truth be the demo would have been posted b4 6pm but because of the delays and aprents wanting tom watch Red Arrows (they are awsome though ) i only got home at 8

NE WAYS - no time = no demo, sry peeeps - BUT by this TUESDAY i WILL deliver a multiplayer demo so watch this space!

its made in Maya but none of the tools used are maya specific so it can be translated

right i am currently uploading the demo!

i am using 50megs as a hots - the .rar file is 23 M

I tried it b4 and the page timed out!

i dont no why though cuz the file only consumates to half of the total host space

Any pointers? ill keep trying though

collision doesnt work anymore
tyres dont stop rotating (they used to )

i will sort these out soon

PLEASE tell me FPS

my system specs:

2.8Ghz processor
1GB RAM
Radeon PX700 gfx card (i think)

It runs perfectly on my system and its not the best around

its a chunk of code that uses the 'dt' command to make a spotlight bitmap. it cud by when i read the dat for poosition each streetlight deca, but it can't be cuz the commands are correct and work fine as i tested the file you downloaded on two pc's.

i'll post some of the code around line 452

ok, wot u do is this:

click on any server thats busy
click on 'to continue'
click on 'manually refresh this page' until you are ready to download (took me less than 10 seconds wating)
then download - i just re-downloaded then

lets get up and lets get ill
