Why dosn't DO - LOOP or WHILE and WEND work?

Actually one of these dose work.. but i forget which one dose or dosn't.. but i needed one of them earlier and they didnt work.. that really bites..

DO..LOOP does
WHILE and ENDWHILE does, but not with BYTE variables...

As MrTAToad said - they both work and there are plenty of example programs showing this.

How did you manage to break them?! My guess would be porting over some DBV1 code and hoping it'd run "out of the box" (which 9 times out of 10 sadly it won't).
