runescape introduced 2 people to game programming-me and sage tech admin.
On the other hand, it's sh*tyness shattered the dreams of hundreds of would-be game programmers.

thats a good point, but im sure that there probably professional gameprogrammers, so youd think theyd make the graphics better because it would attract more people to play their games and therefore make them more money

Its not that, its probably that the engine can't handle a shedload of polygons unlike non java-based games.
