after running the following code:

sync rate 70
load object "C:Program FilesDark Basic SoftwareDarkMATTERModelsDBPeoplePunkH-Punk-Impact.x", 1
loop object 1

repeat
sync
text 0,0, "Object is looping - object looping(1) = "+str$(object looping(1))
until scancode() > 0
wait 100
stop object 1

repeat
sync
text 0,0, "Object is not actually looping! - object looping(1) = "+str$(object looping(1))
until scancode() > 0

you can see that the object looping() command still says that the object is looping even after the stop object command is run!
