Hello,
This is my first message,I recently discovered the DBPro and I like it...
I have a few questions as I feel confused:
1) Is it possible to draw a complex 3D object without importing from a .x or any other format? I don't mean the simple geometry like cube, box, cylinder or cone... just to create some meshes, faces and then to texturize them.
2) Is it possible to apply different textures to every face of an simple geometric figure created by DPPro (like box)?
I am asking this because I'm trying to make a simple "language" or "interpreter" to draw the 3D for example entering these simple instructions...
AddVertex,2.85,-0.144,0
AddVertex,2.85,-0.144,25.2
AddVertex,4.75,-0.144,25.2
AddVertex,4.75,-0.144,0
AddFace,0,1,2,3
LoadTexture,Tie.bmp
SetTextureCoordinates,0,9
SetTextureCoordinates,0,0
SetTextureCoordinates,1,0
SetTextureCoordinates,1,9
maybe I can handle these example with the simple command "box", but I don't know if I can use different textures for the different faces of the object...
Thank you very much...
