So I guess I can assume that this game will not be ready for a long while, you haven't released a demo, and screenshots aren't coming like they used to. Come on man, get it together.

SHUT UP. Ty. And Xeno. In fact, Xeno shut up even more, and turn off Caps Lock.

Pricey, take your time. When it's ready, it's ready. If you do everything right first time, you won't need to re-do it again later.

And good luck with the project, man; It looks wicked ^^.

Maybe you should read the posts. The reason screens aren't comming as fast is because he's re-writing the engine. He just said he'll be posting new screens once the enemies are done.

Thanks peoples!

The animations are Dark Matter and i do some animation my self by moving limbs within DBPro

the FPS is so high because i hide everything that is off screen and i use my own custom sliding math collision which is very fast but does not support rotated world objects. it also might have something to do with my pc spec... see how it runs on yours

gtg do some more work on the enemies now!

Ok, I have mainly been patching up the engine over the last 2 days, I found one MASSIVE bug which has been fixed ^_^

Now, I am going to put better buildings that you can actually walk in and out of!

It's still actually there....

Its something to do with the way it references objects from the script...

[UPDATE]

Fixed the bug (hopefully) the problem was that when you had deleted an object in the level editor, when it was loaded into the actual game, it would use the same code as when it was creating a whole new object in the editor and try to fill in the space left by the deleted object, which was a piece of code i wrote myself but was not intended to be used in this way. When this happened all the references to the object in the script, would not match up to the object's actual number.

Fixed it now

DBPro automatically hides all off screen objects. If you want I can give you my collision code which works with rotated world objects. 66fps is easily high enough but I don't why people are amazed by it. Tutopia, sorry to bring it up again, runs at over 100 on my fairly dated machine.

Are you sure? I've been told otherwise.
Also, when running code such as:

there is no difference in frame rate.

Wow!!! Looks very nice, but I can tell it's still a demo if you know what I mean. Ground and floor textures need to be a bit higher quality, and everything just seems too big or at least too empty. But it’s still early in development as a whole, so I'm not worried.
I really like the heads up displays set up, even if it is a bit plain at the moment. Could we see a new pic of the battle engine? And is that the final camera angle?
I can't wait for a demo, very nice!!!

There are parts of the game where you need to solve puzzles, at those parts, the camera will shoot up into the overhead view seen in earlier screenshots, but for the action and exploring parts, that is indeed the camera angle, though I might move it a little closer to the player...

Indeedy!

I started off the tunnel systems (spooky) they need to be done, then menu systems, then umm.. save game.

There are some slight tweaks to be done for lighting and enemy AI, and some polishing.

Yeh, the buildings do look slightly repetitive, but i'm gonna add some varied textures to them ^_^

Peace out
