when i apply my textures in worldcraft or gtkRadiant and load the bsp up in DBPro, i get major texture stretching:

http://pages.infinit.net/rennug/simple.jpg

i thought it was a simple texture justification problem in WC, but it dosen't seem so.

I loaded Guy Savoie's entity parsing demo and i'm seeing the same texture stretching problems on his level as in mine.

Mind you i'm still compiling with the Dark Basic Pro demo(9 days left..) so i don't know if that has anything to do with it.
i gotta get this working before my trial time is up

Are you guys having the same problems as above ?
if not, any hints on what i'm missing ?

Thanks in advance,

OrcishBlue.

I think this is a bug that was in the early versions of DBP and has now been fixed. Email me with a small tech demo and I will see if I can do anything.

Orcish,

I tested the sample you sent me under DBP Patch 3.1 Retail and it works fine - ie. no texture stretching or anything (I checked against the screenshot you posted). I tested with multitexture on and off. I think that this was a bug reported early on with DBP and fixed in Patch 2.

I have uploaded a compiled exe: http://snow.prohosting.com/~clone99/downloads/corrected.zip

Check that it works correctly on your PC.

@Darth Shader
This problems are not fixed!

My bsp textures gets stretched too.
It happens when pasting an image or sprite over the 3d.
Also bsp geometry turns ghosted when introducing other ghosted objects and dbp particles.

Orchis' BSP was messed up in his version - but works fine so I presume the problem was only partially fixed.

These issues may have been resolved in Patch 4. I have had ghosted objects in my BSP with no problems. Can you set up a demo and I can find out.

By the time it arrives Patch 4 should be out - which will fix many of the remaining bugs - Patch 5 around April time will improve BSP support.

orcishblue,
wot the hell colour is that! I was an Orc admirer since I was 10! Help me out.

Buy DBPro. You need to learn the application before using it seriously. This gives u a few patches to go before writing ur prog. From wot Lee Bamber was saying DBPro aint even been sneeeeeezed on!
