I posted a message earlier that showed one user how to use google to search the darkbasic forums, since then I've seen complaints several times, so here's a repeat of that message. Hopefully this will be useful to anyone who needs to search.

MESSAGE REPRINT:
----------------
You CAN search the forums on this site. Go to google (www.google.com), and in the search box, enter the words you want to search for (for example you could enter "play loop object" without the quotes), then a space, then "site:http://www.darkbasicpro.com" (again, without the quotes). That will return hits from the whole darkbasic site, but for that kind of search, most of what you will find will be in the forums.

Just to clarify, in the google search box you could type:

=========================================================
| play loop object site:http://www.darkbasicpro.com |
=========================================================
to search the DarkBasic site (including forums) for the three words play, loop, and object.

Hope this helps,

Jai

Mmm... While I've found it very useful to use google pointed at the DarkBasic site, I'm certain that messages don't show up until google re-indexes the site (which means that you won't find the newer stuff). I don't know what status DarkBasic maintains on Google, but that COULD take as much as 2 months based on something I read concerning optimizing your site for search engines. Ah well, it's certainly better than having NO way to search!
