OK I admit it, I locked the A-Team thread and noob slapped Seppuku, and I don't have any regrets.

I don't have a problem with useless threads. But when people start posting things in there just to get it locked, it bugs me. But still, I wouldn't have locked it. Then Seppuku says:

All mods are faggots!

Maybe it's an English insult which isn't that offensive, but it offended me so I pulled the trigger. If anyone has a problem with that, take it up with me over email. Don't be a whiney baby about it on the public forum.

And Raven-- this thread isn't about you. If you have a problem with the newer mods, then take it up with the offending mod and Rich. I hope it's not me you're talking about, but if it is I'd much rather get an MSN message or email about it. Not a whiney message in the forums.

Thanks, and my apologies if I offended anyone. Have a coffee:

well yeah the mods squad do fine, it feels theres less in places, then again, you're gonna get more trouble in Gen talk than in 3D chat.

And well come to think of it, its run pretty well, offensive people/rules breakers get slapped telling em no, of course, it would be a good idea to tell em what they did wrong, and well, the response is not 100% but things get sorted, and well theres no way to prevent stupid posts.

Look, all I'm saying is don't tell me to go outside and stop worrying about things that don't matter in the real world when it's you that's complaing about moderators and me that's defending someone's character.

Yes, it would be just great if you had stuck to that idea when I posted that message, eh?

Well yes, of course it would be convenient now that you're backing off of what you originally intended by what you said. I'm sure you were just being cynical, right? Yes, trusty ol' Ben's sarcasm, always there to rescue him from sticky situations. And dragons!

Why? You are the one who has problems with this forum and its members (as you stated several times) and now apperantly with its mods too.

Found a new word (ilk)? That's a very strange (or should I say wrong?) way to use it, though.

This is my last post in this thread, as frankly I don't have the mental strength left to continue here.

I was not talking about Mouse in the slightest. I know there are many people that will make those sort of comments with nasty hidden meanings, but I'm not that kind of person. These sort of people make themselves happy by insulting others. You obviously thought I was one of these people, and got annoyed because you thought I was trying to to make myself feel better by putting others down. Now that gives away the fact that you are that sort of person, because the only reason one would get annoyed enough to make a comment about it is if one were to be jealous in some weird twisted nasty way. I really dislike the people that will constantly try cause other people's unhappyness.

I think all the mods treat me unfairly... Especially Mouse, he's a rebel without a cause. I bet he sits at his computer all day, waiting to deem my post offensive and vile to all human nature.

I like how this sort of thing magically happens without any sort of basis.

"You don't like gay people, that means you're really gay."

or

"You don't like your father, that's because you're jealous that he's sleeping with your mother."

Thanks, Sigmund, but "because the only reason one would get annoyed enough to make a comment about it is if one were to be jealous in some weird twisted nasty way" just doesn't make crap for sense. I'll let you use the excuse that you don't have the mental strength and leave it at that, because I can think of no other explanation for it.

Jimmy, I don't care for you insulting others either and am politely asking if you would stop in this thread, reason being because you guys basically hi-jacked this thread...you've heard my opinion... I don't quite care for Benjamin exchanging anything with you at all, becasue thats exactly what it leads to with you, insults. I personally have been insulted by you and do not find it funny at all. Ben, you didn't need to insult Jimmy either. Bye.

Really. It's one hing saying that you dislike the system; it's another pointlessly insulting each other till this thread is locked.

I don't have any problem with the mods. They have all been fair in my opinion. What's the problem with having more moderators. If anything, at least the newb posts get approved faster . It is best that some threads that become flames be locked before they get worse, and that's why they're here.

Thank you mods,

Hey! Forums need a few rules and people to enforce them... I don't come here for a second PE class.

And as to previous posts in this thread about new mod teams, I don't really care. I doubt that any mod list changes are going to happen soon anyways.

I mean really, a thread to complain about being slightly punished for posting offensive comments on another useless thread. Notice that this is now a "popular" thread (red icon). Many like this do, while others with useful information go unnoticed.

Ok so can I ask for an example then, of when you were mistreated by me?

The funny thing is that this thread is mostly being used by people who tend to get newbie slapped a lot, can we have a thread where the other 99% of forum users get to mention that they use the forum and have never had a problem with us.

You lot should learn some manners, we're here to help keep the forum clean and were nominated by YOU! - when we get critique from someone who would ever be considered mod material then that might be worth taking note of, unlike these vats of bile you lot like to call threads.

ARGH I wrote a long reply and my internet lost its signal when posting it. ARGH. Here's the condensed version:

Quote: "I admit I was immature in what I did, but so where Exeat and David T and I think as a mod it just doesn't make sense to go round doing that."

It was a bit of humour from me. Thre's an unwritten rule that once and insult is thrown you can lock a thread. I jokingly asked for once so the A team thread, which was treading a very find and fuzzy line, suddenly came lockable.

And yes I agree it was a complete mess.

It's hard to handle something like that once it's taken off, while pleasing everybody. You'll always get complains.

Quote: "DavidT thinks I'm just being whiney about it, which frankly damn straight I'm going to bitch about this. Recently my behaviour has actually been one hell of alot more restrained than it has in the past; now to be slapped and banned for the most pathetic things. The last one was purely because I didn't agree with Mouse (Ian T, or whatever the hell he's calling himself these days)."

I said you're seeing problems where there are none when you suggested some members of hte community are less than genuine. I completely sympathise with you over the slap, and have noticed myself how restrained you have been. Well done

And now - I will lock this thread. It serves no purpose other than to cause trouble and insults.

Wow, and I can't believe you took that seriously, doesn't ironic humour mean anything to anyone? Honestly, I'm a mod asking for a thread to be locked... doesn't that send off any alarm bells at all? You know, I didn't think I could paint a clearer picture saying "I'm Joking!" but obviously I need to, because some people really don't understand comedic value. Mods don't have to be serious all the time.
