Well, very good model! But when I try it ingame nothing shows up...maybe you should reposition it? Or are you already doing that with the animated one?

All in all, FPSC really needed a good modern gun! this would fit perfect in my game!

As far as I can tell, it has the same problem as his free AUG. It doesn't have the proper orientation. Crow34, maybe you could aling it more with a Colt.45? Then it should be on the screen fine.

I don't think he ment you said anything about crow34's gun. I think he ment you should help Swhale aka the FPS Creator out a little more, instead of saying "I know how". Hope that wasn't rude or mean or anything, just clearing things out (I hope)...

No you wasn't rude, and i dosen't meaned to be rude too with Swhale.
Sorry Swhale Aka The FPS Creator.

Ok here's how to import models:

1. Model your gun with seperate parts from the ammo and the gun;

2. Animate your model (Idle, Start Shooting, Shooting Cycle, Stop Shooting, Reload);

3. Model a little more low poly for the untaken gun;

4. Texture your gun;

5. Set up the FPE file, by writing the paths, properties and animation cycle.

6. (optional) Make a 64x64 (i think) bmp file of how it looks, to see the picture of the entity in the entity chooser.

7. See if it works

I dosen't tested it already, but the reason is that i not have my modelling program already. It should work anyway

where to put the files? anywhere in your FPSC folder, but the best folder you can place it is there:

FPS Creator\Files\entitybank\user\

now you copy a FPE file from the folder of any weapon similar to your weapon:

FPS Creator\Files\entitybank\ww2\items\

paste in your weapon's folder and modify the texture path, name, the models paths, names and the old weapon's name. Also, change the animation cycle of your weapon.

that's all

is the gun marked as a vweap.x

and do you have the same model loaded for hud.x?

some questions that might help

yes, i made the gunspec.

VWEAP.x = Static
HUD.x = Animated
I also made the things for the editor: FPE, 64x64 BMP

Is it correct for the two .x files names?

Make sure the FPE and bitmap know where to point to, and the HUD.x,vweap,and gunspec are in "gamecore\guns\yourak47" along with sounds ect. I just copy one of the other guns. and make sure your FPE tells which weapon.

Another thing - I noticed this with crow's guns. The orienttation might be wrong. I don't know quite how to fix it, it might actually be changeable thourgh the gunspec file, but I am not sure. I am tired so I'll look into it later.

you sure you must get them in the gamecore\guns folder?

i know my problem btw, and i really dont want to fix it, it's because i putted the ak47 in my model file at the right, and i should putted it at the left. Now, i must position all of the Keyframes' Animation at the left!
