help needed, i need a script that the player has to hand over a few items to another entitity, if the player does not hand over the items then a timer will start, once the timer counts down to 0 the player will lose the game, this is fairly important, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think it is possible... you can use keys, mabey... but...

yeah im using keys at the momment, but what if a player was only to drop the keys in a certain area, instead of handing them over to another entity
