Phantasy Rpg is a great web based RPG that is really fun. I love it. The only thing is their player vs. player system has been down so you cant "see" other players on the map. But you can still battle others in the arena.

where the f*** do you live, or have you not meet any "real person before? Almost everyone has internet nowadays, even tho its still mostly dial-up for those who just use it to e-mail and what-not.

pretty much

neither am i
Quote: "extra £1"

its a bit more than that for a decent service

everybody that has high speed:

a)has the money to spend
b)is a geek or nerd
c)just likes to play some games, but isnt a geek
d)has a legitamite cause, like a samll business or e-store.

everyone that has dial-up:

a) doesnt spend half their awoken day on the internet.

You're not a geek or nerd, but your name is XpProUser, your "company name" is a ripoff of the Metal Gear Solid game title and you're programming a messenger client.

@Jimmy: You got to understand what a geek and a nerd is, all because my name is XpProUser and I am creating a messenger, is something that I am glad off, which doesn't automatically make me a nerd or a geek...so think twice before clicking submit with your next nagative comment please.

@Ben: your not worthy of such words yourself, so speak for yourself.

trust me, i dont think im a nerd or a geek either, but everyone on here decides to say everyone is because it makes them feel important, unlike their real lives, not that i'd know or anything.

You are the definition of a geek and a nerd. You are a nerk, if you will. It's not a bad thing. It's who you are, so face up to it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I'm not one either.

I'm all lost now... hehe, i'm not asking for a fight or anything so don't get me wrong.
Nevertheless, if your book of what a nerd or geek is, has my type of style in, then I guess you could call me a geek or nerd....but I still don't think I am....what do I know anyway

I am currently a geek or/and a nerd. Wheres my broadband!? All broadband stops less then a mile from my house.(I'm sorry, but they don't give you broadband for being a nerd/geek) Anyway, most MMORPGs are Dial-Up friendly. I play World of Warcraft just fine, as long as there are about 20 or less people near me, the lag isn't noticeable. (this is with 28k-31k connection) Ultima Online is bad for dial up users because your connection has a huge effect on your walking speed. This means Dial-up users take 15 steps to walk across a "screen"(Its 2D) while broad band can teleport across it with 2 steps, making PvP very hard to do.

most people have said "get broadband". That is the most useless answer to the question at hand possible. If he could get broadband then he would probably have it already.

I played runescape for a long while on 56k, try that at www.runescape.com

no i'm not saying WoW sucks(tho ive never played it so i wouldnt know), it depends on how you like to play mmorpgs, in the towns, or in the wild, if yu like the towns like me wich have a TON of ppl that are all trading, then dial-up will bite u in the as*.

Yeah, in internet matters, it sucks to be me. However, unless it is my imagination, most of th posts here have been off topic, or suggesting I buy games, which is out because of a lack of money which prohibits broadband in the first place, and a excess of parental worrying that video games will fry my brain yet.
