Why hasn't DBS implemented this command yet?
I was gonna enter into the 20 line comp

All you'll need to do is by Unreal Tournament or UT2003...

Would save a whole load of programming time.

Yes, I really am THAT good...

well from what i've heard the command has multiple bugs, like on line 20 "DirectX doesn't recognise GL_WIN Command"

seems to have gang baffled

if i were you i'd use POKE LEE WITH STICK ( LENGTH ) command, doesn't produce results right away ... but in a couple of weeks you end up with something. Thought i'd use a mighty big value for the length - might have some unwanted immediate side effects

Ya, but then I can't enter the comp!
Anyway, the POKE LEE WITH STICK (Length) command is unreliable, it always ends up poking me instead of Lee... probably Lee's idea about a practical joke.
Another command that interests me though is:
Severely Hurt Maime or Kill Worst Enemy (Severity)
but I don't want to try it, given the results of the Poke Lee with Stick command.

Yes, the POKE LEE WITH STICK command is unreliable in the current version.

I suggest the MAKE DEATH THREATS(Name,Type,Nastiness) - It is slower but at least it works.

Unfortunately the SET BUGS OFF command isn't working at all, I will be able to write games properly when this has been fixed.

well ya know we're not quite sure on the reliability of the POKE LEE WITH A STICK() command, as no one has had the guts to use it yet ... there are alot of warnings inplace!
and i'm pretty sure the death threat one never passed the ELSA approval

However i did come across a nifty new command... DESTROY BLITZ() - now we can release havok on the unsuspecting world of Blitz Mwhahaahaaa!!!

Damn!

Every time I use the DESTROY BLITZ() command I get a runtime error:

"Runtime Error 178: DBPro too buggy to rival Blitz3D"

the DESTROY SELF() command works OK though.

what is a signature?

I think they were saving some of those commands (like Make_Quake3_Beater()) for "The 3D FPS maker"...
Probably why they didn't make the commands work in DBP. Wonder why they left em in tho...

PS-I found a new one: (Not sure what it does, but I am guessing it does the same as Destroy_self, but to someone else, wonder who?)
DESTROY_BINLADEN(smite)

and this command returns a 1 or a zero (1 = True)

Variable = Stupid?()

Well that seals it... definatly not using the POKE LEE WITH A STICK() command

Ahh the MAKE GAME() command is back, nice... i thought it was scrapped for the faster USE ENGINE() command

got impressive results with this

It even didn't mind the subtle OpenGL tendancies of the engine

ohh they must be new...
play sounds like it really should be for a new media type - i think RUN ENGINE() is still by far the best
End probably terminates from memory.

i found a secret function today thou MikesLaw(), its a little like the murphys law one on DOS 6.x
randomly chooses a section of code to bug and then prints out a law that it would consern to...
e.g.

what is printed is >
a = 1 ... b = a + a ... b = 11
Mike's Law No. 10
Oftenly the sum of two numbers doesn't quite add up!

- useless but fun

... hey Raps want your opinion on something ...
Me and CrappyCoder have been talkin' about making a quick simple game in DBpro together - nothing overly complex just a simple platformer.
Well was wondering - you mind if we put your cat in?
I did have the idea about making a game where he had to drink alot of expresso, and yeah the idea has been mullin' for a while with now a concept setup - we've added his cartoon goat he's always wanted in, and with my friends here i've just added Grim from Grim&Evil
i don't think you wanna know exactly what the games design has been thought up - i mean just imagine what westwood and blizzard boys can come up with in our twisted lil minds - hahaa

Raven: I would give my permission, but it isn't my cat. I found this image on the net, shrunk it and used it as my avator. So I don't have the right to give you permission, sorry
