How about flight? Do you want to come off the ground?

This addition will allow you to add jetpack in your games. And the example which is switched on in addition will show you advantages of free flight!

AWESOME
MIGHT BUY IT

But first, what is the way that you choose to "fly"? or does it just happen.

I ALWAYS have flame proof jacket...just in case...and a shotgun. If you want any, just ask!

We are all nice, except for that one who's name starts in a m and ends in erranvo.

COOL!

I have your forest pack, now I just need to get the road, railroad, and now this cool jetpack pack! But could you compile an example? Senery stuff like the others is ok with screenshots, but an example game or movie would bring more costomers for this.

Hi just bought this.

What do you do to fly. Do you have to press a button on the keyboard after walking over the jetpack entity?

Cheers

How does it work? Do you have to hold down the jump key or something? And how do you move up and down in the air? Also, is there a limit to the time you can spend in the air, or can you fly for an infinute amount of time?

enter... lol... ENTER... LOL...
You know, I thought I released a script that could do the same thing... ENTER, how does tapping it to the jump key sound? That way you don't like fly out of the place when you open a door.

Keeps laughing on his way out. ENTER!

it probably does need to be something other than ENTER...

you could never open a door!

what about.... ctrl? Then, just make sure the user doesnt map anything to ctrl... that would be better than ENTER.

If you had a jetpack strapped to your back, would you really want to use a door? I would shoot out a window and fly in. Just seems more dramatic than using a door.
I'm sipping a brew on the 13th floor while other user is looking for a key to open a door.

Hey, Monster,
I have just purchased the pack and while my key arrives wanted to ask if you can disable the pack temporarily by changing weapon.
I really would like to disable it somehow, when entering a building.

Well, monster, Why would you believe that FPSC is fixed to enter?

I assume that the source is actually very simple...
something like...

:plrdistwithin=40,plrusingaction=1:plrmoveup=1

the trick now is making it a collectable... probally could use a gold bar... yeah, it is never used anyways...

So now you need a hud icon, huh?

:state=0,plrdistwithin=40:state=1,hudx=90,hudy=80,hudimage=image.jpg,hudname=HUD,hudmake=1,hudreset,plrtake
:state=1:hudshow=HUD
:state=1,plrusingaction=1:plrmoveup=1

but now the plr has too much fun... he can fly forever

:state=0,plrdistwithin=40:state=1,hudx=90,hudy=80,hudimage=image.jpg,hudname=HUD,hudmake=1,hudreset,plrtake,timerstart
:state=1:hudshow=HUD
:state=1,plrusingaction=1:plrmoveup=1
:state=1,timergreater=45000:plrdrop,state=0

there, now the plr will have a quick drop after 45 seconds.
YES!!! Lets a smash ya down to size!

oh monster shut it... have to think a little...
besides... I can get a jet models off the web!

first off, My hud is a little wrong.
Second off, move up should be greater...
Third off, plrtake is playertake
Fourth off, why take? I can associate!
Fifth off, I think I can grab a hud display... I'll post it later.
Sixth off, don't insult my scripting...
Seventh off, I found my new fourm name... MONSTER! I shall HAVE IT!
Eight off, This Works! Using A Skull, (much easier for retexture)

:state=0:state=6,coloff
:state=1:associateplayer
:state=1,plrhigher=25:moveup=4
:state=1,raycastup=0 -20:state=3
:state=1:moveup=-2,rotatetoplr
:state=3:state=1
:state=1,plrusingaction=1:moveup=5

:state=6,plrdistwithin=50:state=1,associateplayer,setalphafade=0

Ninth off, I'll put the hud up latter.
Tenth off, BLAST OFF!!!

Monster, I have not modified any script, hence am testing the out-of-the-pack jetpack.
What happens is that if I die when using the jetpack, I lose both the jetpack and any weapons that I was carrying.
I tested placing a second jetpack, for the second life. When taking the second jetpack, it won't fly at all.
Is there any trick for using a second or third jetpack?

I must agree. You'll get a lot more people to buy your packs (including myself) if you offer PayPal as a payment option.

Monster,

I purchased this add-on. Can only say, "NICE". Little buggy at first, but after I figured it out it works like a dream. I might suggest adding some instruction for the user regarding how the jetpack_system operates, and tips to ensure that it functions properly. $3.99 well spent.

You should still affilliate with PayPal as soon as possible, as you are missing a tremendous opportunity to fill a niche.

I too am curious about the use of multiple jetpacks in gameplay. Please clarify this.

Thanks,
