'Geek' is not an insulting term. A lot the 'non geeks' think it is, but are not smart enough to know what it really is... Maybe their just jealous

I like the new name. The new rules helped. You see alot less s now. It still is not as relaxed as before...

People who are overly offended by terms like Geek are really just encouraging their use - people only use terms that have an effect.

If we all freely admitted to being geeks then the term would change in our favour - the normal people on this earth might like to pigeonhole people who are passionate about more cerebrial hobbies - that's upto them and we should'nt care what they think, let's take back the term Geek and turn it into something more positive.

I mean, when are you likely to be called a geek? - usually when you've just mentally pwnd someone in front of their friends .
