I've had 3ds Max 7 for less than 2 days and managed to make this:

It's a gun for a new game i'm making.

And does anybody know how to export max to.x?

I suggest you use the Microsoft one rather than the Panda one, the Panda one isn't too stable.

All the FPSC characters and models were exported from Max 7 using the Pandasoft .X exporter. Having used panda for more than a year I can testify that I've not had any stability problems at all.

Use the settings here:

and you should have no problems

The Microsoft exporter doesn't export boned animations in a way we can use for FPSC characters.

it crashes mine all the time...are you saying that it has NEVER crashed on you? but yes it is currently the only one that can do they fpsc job.
