OMFG stop asking for free stuff

<LOOK HERE>

free models > http://www.turbosquid.com/Search/Index.cfm/FuseAction/ProcessSmartSearch/intMediaType/2/stgType/Free

free textuers > http://www.turbosquid.com/Search/Index.cfm/FuseAction/ProcessSmartSearch/intMediaType/3/stgType/Free

do the FPE yourself if you need help with that post for help, but at lest try it first. you know you might learn somthing from doing it yourself.

Im currently working on a toilet, shower, sink model. (basically a bathroom setting, without the smelly lysol) Will be available, FREE of course. As soon as its finished. However it will not be textured. Cause i suck at that. By the way models wont be the best in the world. But they will get er done.

Semper Fidelis.
God Bless.

hey i was wondering... hey rastaman do you do requests? if you do i was wondering if you could make a graveyard pack? (coffins, open and closedand some with dead bodies in'em, broken wooden fence pieces, different sort of graveyards,etc. use you're imagination!)sorry if this is a lot to ask tho.... you don't have to do it if you don't want to, but i would really apreciate it

thanks in advance

you'd have to buy the 'bathrooms' model pack from http://www.terminal26.com and I can give it to you plus the other models in that pack, fpsc ready....

@flashing snall

Following what Rastaman has said: if you visit the Terminal26 website, there is a free models section with a toilet and handbasin available for download. They are currently in '.mdl' format (which is for 3D Gamestudio) but you can convert them to .x using Milkshape or Fragmotion.

Good luck!

I went to terminal26, downloaded some models, but could not import a single one.
I tried with milkshape, fragmotion and gamespace. All my modelers are full versions and the latest versions.
Probably the trial version of 3DGameStudio MED could open some, but mine expired and I uninstalled it.

JDForce, use either MDL 5 import or MDL 7 import in Milkshape

RastaMan, that is what I did. MDL5 displays an error message. MDL7 does not display any message, but the window remains blank. zoomed in and out but the same. It does not import anything. My MilkShape version is 1.7.6

Thats odd. I just tested on a few of the free models and had no problem. Is it a specific model your trying to import?

RastaMan,
I attempted to open: WC of course, Amazon, hover, a mech, a car. I re-installed the 3dGameStudio Trial I have here, and the model editor seems to work fine.
I opened the same models there without problem. Animation and all.
I exported to 3ds (frame by frame) and to Md2.
3ds opens on GameSpace, and axis-rotated on Milkshape. UV coordinates definitely did not export at all. Just geometry.
MD2 did not open on gamespace, but opened well on milkshape with axes messed up.
Now, if it opens for you and not for me, having the same versions of software packages, the remaining issues are DirectX and OS version. Probably some hardware driver.
I have Dx9.0c and XP sp1. Use Nvidia GEforce fx5500 256mb ram and nvidia geforce mx4000 64mb ram (dual monitor).

Bottom line: I want 3dGameStudio.

Ok, try this....

Open WC using WED (model editor in 3DGS), resave the model as MDL7 and then try to open it in MilkShape using MDL7 import.

It worked. Opened Amazon.mdl with my trial MED, saved as mdl7 on a different folder, and imported with milkshape.
Textured and all. Animation is gone, though.

Yep. mot sure what to tell you about the animation. I don't think MilkShape supports animation of some imported formats like MDL, but I may be wrong.

Which reminds me, I gotta update my 3DGS also. I have totally forgot about MED. I had tried the Tank from their site in MilkShape and got a Header Format error. So I guess some of their models will need MED first.
