We do not want any flaming. Bad news, my computer has been going to the ever dreadful blue screen, and I am trying to fix it. I will be posting on my laptop for today and tomorrow, and the screens may not get up soon. I am really sorry, and please do not do this to me:

HEY! Stop with the flaming. I have some good news and bad news. The good news is that the computer is up and running, the bad news is that I am going to have to upload some stuff, so it will take about 10 minutes tops.

I just completed levels one through three in the cshop lightmapper. This is great! Once I have about 10 levels, I will put them into the demo. Screens uploading of level one.

Okay, major probs with the lightmapper. Does anyone know why when I apply certain textures with lights near them, other textures become multicolored? Is it because of the 32-bit alpha transparency thingy?

Bonjour screenies! We have some screens right here of a texture for the zombie (DarkMatter thank you!), new level stuff, and an updated pic:

I am changing the name to Lunarphobiac. See, the person must complete all the tasks before the lunar eclipse that is to happen in a month.

Looks nice, and I think a name change is good. But could you make the pics jpgs? They took a long time to load.

Sure, I will make them jpgs. They are PNG pics right now, but I will make them jpgs. I am glad that you like the name change. Good news, I will have the site up soon. The site is going to be based on an entry I am submitting to a compo for ThinkQuest. I am currently working on the AI and collisions. The gun movement is fine, the player controls are fine, and the interface will need some cleaning, but I am having major problems with collisions. I have not put in Newton Physics just yet, but I will be shortly and that should solve my problems. Demo by November.

Why are you asking what we think of the textures if you didn't make em?

And please stop using png. We've already asked you. See what I mean by "people" making the same mistakes?

I will put them as jpgs, I just need to install the demo of Paint Shop Pro to my new computer.

Okay, in game stuff is going fine now. Collisions I am playing with.

Here is what I have for the engine that I did today:

*Started Collisions and Physics
*Added in 4th gun
*Finished Interface
*Updated AI so enemies move fast, talk, and alert others of your presnce
*New Startup Screen
*Level1 complete
*Working on editor, may use Math89's scene editor instead
*Game is not ready for demo just yet

Any other posts? Okay, so the demo will be coming either November 1st or November 15th. I am making a video right now of the game with gun movement, sfx, and collisions/physics. There are no enemies in the video, just movement and lighting. That should be done shortly.

I did too! So, thanks for the comments, video in a few days, demo in november, and the completed game is expected around february.

Here are the people so far that are helping with the game:

Gamedev: Leading, designing, programming, secondary modeling, sfx
Mark (my friend): Modeling, animating, graphics

I need another modeler for this project and a secondary programmer. Anybody interested?

First Page. Okay, as I stated earlier, I will not show ingame screens just yet. As I have been REPEATING OVER AND OVER: I WILL HAVE A VIDEO. Sorry for sounding harsh, but I have said it over and over that ingame play is coming soon. Collisions are off right now and everything is not put together. In game play is a mess right now. Everyone has loved this so far, I do not see your problem.

Okay, guess what everyone: COLLISIONS ARE IN THE HOUSE! Ummm...I mean fixed. I have that done, newton is going smoothly, I just need a new level editor for the game. A basic editor just to put entities around the world. Anyone up to the task of doing it? Mine is the worst ever made. It crashes all the time, some of the entities do not show up, and it interfears with the game. If someone would be the level editor programmer for this, that would be great. I will give them some form of payment too.

Yes, but you have to load it as a cshop map, and I export to .x format because I do not use cshop for entities. You have to also convert the model and it is just not fun. I want something to do it outside of cshop.

Okay, in game screens are here! I am just going to show one right now. It is in one of the rooms that I have previously shown, and I shrunk down the size of the image so it will fit and not take too long to load (I hope!). So now, I am only using poorly textured yellow and blue bullets as squares, and a paint made crosshair. I have the interface set up, and I have started with the new level editor.

Okay, so I positioned the camera in almost the exact same spot as one of the other screenies, and just started firing bullets for this ingame screen. No enemies in this one:

Also, If you are wondering why the gun has a blue outline, that is one of the things I put in the game. When you are recharging the gun, there is a blue light that shines, and then the gun starts to pulse on the outside of it with a blue light and slowly just comes to an outline that when 50% is reached, dies. I am having some trouble with mutiple bullets at one time though.

Ignoring the fact that if you look at the yellow box in this screen and compare to the yellow box in the Cshop screen, the yellow box is on the EXACT same part of the wall?

@Gamedev--- Things looks like they're going good, but is that last screenie a mockup of an in-game screenie, or it real?

So the blue glow isnt actually just a result of you cutting the gun out from the screenshot on the first page and pasting it into this very unconvincing faked mockup. You seem to be reverting to your old ways again.

Gamedev can you explain your renderer please. It seems youve found a clever way of rendering in highres for most of the screen but your 'bullets' seem to render in chunky pixel mode.
