FPSC Classic Scripts / Changing the Explosion Fragments?

Hello all. Any info on changing the size, shape, amount, etc., of fragments when an entity explodes?

Example: I blow up a tree or tank or somethin and I get the box pieces.

The gibbs stuff is hard coded into the engine I believe so does not give the user much freedom in this area - though I have not looked into it in depth.

The box pieces are not really very useful if you are looking for kinda pro results - in most circumstances except perhaps for small boxes its probably best to not bother to use the explosive effect at all - better without it.

Not sure if the release of the source will be of any help in this area. There may be others that have done more with this than myself.

I'm not quite sure what can be done say for instance if you wanted to make a wall break into irregular shaped pieces when shot at or when an explosion occurs. (not including any default breakable walls)

I have not got into trying that kind of thing yet but may give it a go some time down the road. I have the feeling its currently not achieveable though from what Ive seen without searching through everything.

Its on the list of to have a go at waiting in turn.

Liquids, lasers, additional doors and weapons first.
