Here are some screenshots of our first project.

and here is the demo.

http://www.onlineartscenter.de/desert/Traning.exe

This game is like Half-Life. When you come to a door and press
"e" you will hear a "locked sound" or you can open the door.
But you can also activate a computer or a button by pressing
"e".

Nice screens, trying the demo now. I'm slightly relieved to see the screens having just read the 'old bill' thread!

That is DarkBASIC Classic right?

looks awesome...

Keep up the good work, can I also ask where you found the barrel?

I might need something like that for my FPS...

Thanks !

EDIT: Whoa, awesome, Played Demo!, Can I ask how you did your interactive objects (Siren etc)

Did you make your own level editor?

The executable won't work for me. It keeps minimizing. Still, screens look great.

One word: Buy DarkBasic Pro. If you can create that with DBC, then i really can't see any reason why you shouldn't. Totally awesome.

Setup Factory. It says so when you right click on the exe and click properties.

Looks good so far. Two things to add:
-Lights
-Recoil on the weapon (You shoot and the gun vibrates)

If you can read this, you are over qualified.

Its an impressive demo. I like how the icon shows up at the bottom of the screen when you can interact with things. I think the movement is a little on the slow side and the muzzel flash could use some work but its better than anything I could make with dbc! I hated dbc!
Keep up the good work!

YUS!! I've been wondering what happened to this game! I remember I saw it ages ago in the Code Snippets part...

Quote: "One word: Buy DarkBasic Pro. If you can create that with DBC, then i really can't see any reason why you shouldn't. "

That doesn't make sense, if he can create it with DBC then I dont see any reason why he should get DBPro..

Though you do make a point, the game could have so many good effects.

Not where I'm from

This is a nice project, not seen many DBC projects with this quality, lightmapping would increase the awsomeness, and well DBP would make it look nicer too, but I know not everyone would want just spend their money on anything

Somebody mentioned about the muzzle flash. I think that would look better if the flash was bigger.

the new image looks great, but when people say light mapping they mean shadows made in a program, look at deled, cartography shop and gile[s]
shadows/lightmaps are made in there.
