Sorry... I can't release a demo yet (for psychological reasons) ; I need to have something more achieved!

But here is a very small video (WMV9 - 2.7 Mb)

OMG

This is the sickest looking DBPro game ever. I'm having trouble believing you actually made this in DBPro, it looks so amazingly good.

The camera felt a little disorienting in the vid, but it looks sooooooooooo cool. I mean, it just looks... perfect.

And what I could see of the gameplay is amazing.

I disagree with the previous rating. This should get 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (I think that's googleplex,10^100) out of 10.

If rich doesn't show this in the next issue or it doesn't get stickied, we should all e-mail him and tell him to.

This is the stickiest thread EVER! The video looked amazing. I already thought this game was going to be good but that was truly stunning. Great work, Cagey (), I hope to see more of your work in the future.

Now THAT is flying!

Once those awsome buildings from the previous version are in to brighten up the dull landscape, this game will be "Megaton Fantastico" approved.

Spetacular work!

As soon as I'll have enough time, I'll release the most info/tutorials as possible on this game when finished.

Controls needs to be improved, and soon a beta will be released to listen everyone suggestions on this!

What processor are your unning it on though? As things like your shadows etc are software routines the graphics card wont matter a penny for how fast it runs, its all being rendered on the cpu

This can sound not belivable, but I don't know precisely the cpu freq of this computer (I have no interest at all with hardware... I only eat code lines). But something arround 1.5 Ghz I'd say.

But since that's true I try to give real work to my CPU in order to keep a correct ratio between cpu/gfx, my "software shadow" is only a hint: it doesn't cost anything

I've got all the original star fox 64 songs and they were downloaded for free legally so I think that if you don't sell the game those could be usefull. I would really like you to not sell this. Please I've been looking for a good star fox clone and apparently Nintendo is really bad at it.

If there's a turbo in your game, you should change the focal length or field of view so everything gets skewed a bit. Gives you the illusion of going really fast.
