I'll try to walk you through it:

You start out facing a wall. Turn left while moving forward. Go quickly to the back of the pillar and the alien will knock it down. Quickly jump on the pillar and lead him to the back by jumping. If you jump, he'll follow. Then walk to the next pillar on your right side of the door while still on the first pillar. When you fall off the pillar at the end, don't stop he's chasing you. Go around the next pillar and he'll hit it as well. Move the then next one. You can't jump on this one because it's slanted so hurry to the next one. If he is really close to you, just keep circling around the pillar as he'll eventually hit it and knock it down.

When all pillars are down and the door opens, quickly go through the door.

Yah, he is trying to upgrade the server. That way he can have php and cgi and what-not. The new program he is using for the server isn't as secure as he'd like it to be so he's messing around with that. Also, he had problems with the dns stuff.

Well, it seems his server is back up now, but, can you even log in? He said it might be that all of our passwords were reset - so are you experiencing the same error when you try to upload to the FTP?

Yes I am. Just be patient with madman, as he is trying his best. So, I think that his services are too good to be impatient and not have anymore. [edit] I'll try you're tutorial later. I have to go to bed (school tommorow). It's 11:22p.m. here.

Ah, you know what they say, curiosity kills the cat. no just kidding. Tat tutorial HELPS! Now I just need to stay alive!

DANG!!! That alien thing is TOOO hard. I keep dying even if I get all of them. You die too easil I think, here is a suggestion, make you last longer by increasing lives, or make him move slower. Either one willl help a little more.

I fixed the voicing in Level 1. I made it so that the music pauses while Froggy is talking so you can hear him better.

I've just started the second room and am making the FPS part.
Kuber uses his laser to shoot frogs so the indian will give him the key to the next room.

Wow, this sounds AWESOME! I wish I could make something like this. Seroiuslly, all I can make are 2d things that think logically.

I'm thinking the frogs will just be frogs heads, unless I get my full version of Milkshape or something else to add a body

What's wrong with that? Your game already doesn't play by the rules. A talking penguin, with a robe in a bathtub. I think heads will be just fine.

Hmm, I played the demo, and it was all good except since the platfroms you needed to jump on to get to the top are the same color as the wall, it took me quite a long time to find them and the get up on them.

OK, I guess I'll use frog heads then

I remade the indian voices as I felt they were terrible:-(
Now, they sound pretty good.

I'll hopefully upload the updated version....just as soon as I get access to my FTP again lol

I'll also post the tutorials on the game.

I have gotten the camera set in the shooting part and it looks pretty good. It turns in a semi-circle to add a challenge!

You can't get into it yet? Mines working. IF you are sure everything you type is correct, pm or email madman and ask him to reset you pass, and username. That's what I did.

I've been asking him for a long time now. And, he's finally e-mailed me and told me he reset mine! I can upload now! Yay!

What did you think of the tutorials?

I downloaded the level 2 demo on a friend's computer and came to a stunning realization that it seemed way too fast. You see, my computer isn't really that fast (it's a 98) and it seems slower on mine. I think that's why you guys haven't finished it yet. Although, I did beat it at that speed

I'll try making the sync rate lower and some other tricks to slow it down. I'll upload it after I get that.

I'll also post a pic of the frogs in the level.

But, seriously, did the tuts help?

All right, test that one out and tell me if it is any slower on than the original level 2. And just have fun and try to kill all of the frogs on the second part

Your tutorial Helped ALOT. I just ran around at first when I started. Then when I read your tutorial, I figured out a routine to go through.

I like your frog heads. Great game so far. I'll try out demo later today. I have to go to school (Winter Break in 2 days including today). Otherwise, great game!

Yah, the pics REALLY helped me. Just as much as the tutorial itself. Thanks.

As for the demo. IT stops at the "oh howwwwwww are ya doing?" Is that supposed to happen, or what? The game is waay slower. I have a fast computer and it was way slower, not the good slower, but bad slower, I like it better faster. OTherwise, it's looking good.

The video is too long and is too large to download. Could you possibly edited it down to when you go inside the indian place, then put it in a .zip file, or make it a .mov file or something to ease the download time? I have 56k dial-up and it's really slooooooow

It worked fine on my friends comp. He has an XP and it went fast, until I recently fixed it. Did u download the recent one, or are you working with the first of the 2nd demo?

Technically I did. Because it just sits there doing nothing. As you hopefully saw, Kuber (or who ever that was) is moving down there. It just doesn't do anything.

I downloaded the new one.

Here are my computer specs:
Windows XP Home (All latest Drivers hopefully)
1 Gig of ram
Nividia GeForce 6200SE TurboCache
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
Uuuuh, 17 inch monitor
Uuuh THat's all I can think of for now.
Please note this is a BRAND NEW computer.

I have no idea why it turns black, it's supposed to show the next room. Every computer I tried it on worked

As for the abrupt stop, I am partially clueless, but it may be that it is off sync. But there aren't any hidden "end" codes or anything to make it stop.

Do you have any ideas? I'll keep brainstorming.

It doesn't stop. It sits there for an infinity. Not diong anything.
If it works on other computers, I don't see why it doesn't work on my computer.... Try downloading the exe youself, and trying it. If it still works, I'll burn my computer. lol I won't really. but yah.....

I downloaded it and played it. And....it worked fine

I think the problem has to lie within your computer. Not that it is a bad thing, like your specs aren't high (as I'm running a 98 and my friend's XP), but that either you don't have a current DirectX or maybe it's that your computer has too good of hardware - maybe

Other than those basic ideas, I have no idea, it seems to be working for me.

How about anyone else? Do you guys have the same problem?

I have DX 9.0c . I believe, I can't remember where I checked, but I'll go check for updates on my card and everything.

I have latest Windows Updates
Direct x is 9.0c

Hmm, I don't have my latest Nvidia card driver and stuff. I have 77.fsdf and the latest is 81.sfs I gues I'll update that then while I'm updating everything else.

The upgrade helped. The door is no longer black. I now see the monster thing get caught by the ceiling. YAAAY. Though the game still pauses at the one part. I'll re-download, and try again.

The rest of it still doesn't work. Aw man. It still jus sits there for ever.

No, but when I shot the frogs the indiantold me too, I got them all, yet it said I missed one, and I had to re-start the program and try again the next time I was sure I'd gotten them all, but It still said I'd missed one.

I don't have the frog thing progammed completely yet, it's just there for a short demo. The number of frogs to kill isn't really set yet, but in the next demo it will be. Then you can move on to part 3

Yeah, when I went back up I really got made fun of, because "I have no life and'll just get carpel tunnel" But it's all in good fun and I whooped them at pool (billiards, or whatever) so I feel good

A joystick would be a cool feature, but,like you said, not everyone has one. I may add an option for this, but I was panning for wsad and keyboard controls to share
