Does anyone have any ideas how i could get a weapoon into FPSC that would act like a knife i have a model but i cant even make it appear which isnt a good start can anyone help with the process of getting this model into FPSC with a short range?

Im not sure I can because im in a serious mess with it and i cant eve nget the model to appear correctly in the players hand i havent tried messing with if for AI players but I was thinking we could reanimate the gaive weapon that comes with its and have it setup so it slashes or stabs instead of being thrown, i did have a mess with this but the best i could get it to do is fire bullets instead 69- and i couldnt figure out how to get rid of the ammo limit but using frames 1-9 it looked alright with the current animation

@Conjured Entertainment - I think he means a PLAYER's knife.

@Storm 6000 - I think that you could set the "range" in the gunspec file really low. That might work, I'll have to try it sometime.

i couldnt see a range in that file could you tell me which weapon has range in its file? and also how do you chnage the decal?

It should be in gunspec files which use bullets by default.

as merranvo said...use explosions without the decals...it works quite well for me.

hey bullshock would mind listing the instuctions on how you would do this please because im very new at making new weapons especically non projectile weapons
