Did I miss something?. You´re pushing almost half a milion poligons and you´re sad that it´s running at 35fps? This is not a time to be sad but a time to pat yourself on the back. Of caurse if you want to increase the framerate be my guest.

My signature has been erased by me because it's LARGE.

If so, how did you implement it with the current set camera to image problems?

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 

With the screenshot Bettina69 posted, my only comment is that the fish could do with some normal/bumpmapping...

Of course, it could be bumpmapped already; The whole demo (and screeny) is so high-quality, it's just the fish seem to stand out a bit :/

Well, keep up the good work guys, anyway...!

It's nice to see someone getting somewhere as good as that with a basic language. But I wonder, is that using Matrices or BSPs?

" is that using Matrices or BSPs?"

lmao my guess is neither

Either an Advanced Terrain, or more likely a mesh file either made exteranlly (like a .x or dbo) or internally using memblocks

Darkbasic MAD - Check the shader thread in DBPro discussion. I believe that the water effect shown here uses the shader in that thread.

This looks amazing! The video was nice, showing all the areas. Just one question though. Are you going to have the same style game? Will it be a shooter, or just an adventure that looks like Far Cry?
Thanks,
Torsten.

This looks great! It is by far the best looking thing I've ever seen created with Darkbasic... This just goes to show that it really is possible to make a decent game in DBP. Keep up the good work!

TKsFox - I have to agree. Nice visuals, but until we see some gameplay I'm going to have to reserve my undying allegiance to this as the greatest game ever made.

Hmmm keep working on it, and it will be great.... but at the moment, it is like a few DB Classic demos, and finished games that I have seen. I am following your progress however, and look forward to the next installment.
