what do you mean by "flatten tool"? UV unwrapper or something else?

No, I mean, for example, I used the scale tool to make that think on Aikos back flat, and then moved it closer to her back. But now it's all jaged around the edges! I need that to be fixed.

There is a smoothing tool but it adds a ton of extra polys.

Extra polys could slow down your game, you should care.

If you're making a game to work on other people's systems, then it will be an issue; if not, then it doesn't matter.

there's a smooth edges option in the tools menu. That's it. You can specify how much smoothing you want. If it adds too many polis you can always undo it. I use it all the time to get the shape right, then use something else to optimize the poligons if need be.
