Ah bugger it - I found this code while clearing out my old PC, it was originally written in DBPro Beta 3 (that's before it was even finished! Like real beta) so I fixed it up for Patch 3.1 and kicked it out the door.

It's a combination of a few old DarkForge 2D demo effects and needs to be seen moving to be appreciated. The (highly shit, non-optimised, non-commented, totally dire) source code is included if you're (a) insane or (b) curious.

Anyway, snag the file here: [href]http://www.launchcode.co.uk/DarkForge MegaScroller Pro.zip[/href] (1.7Meg)

Cheers,

Rich

Great stuff Rich! Love the old skool demos
One of my all time faves was a polka bros number. It had a simple tunnel effect using overlapping lines to create loads of hexagonal shapes streaming towards you. "What the hell is he talking about?" I just loved watching that for hours.

Nice work

"highly shit" may be the thing turning everyone off... you might consider fixing the edit feature so you can change that

Anyway, can't see the picture... but that doesn't mean anything.

""highly s**t" may be the thing turning everyone off..." err no, that was about the source code, not the demo itself (and judging by the comments here now most will agree).

Pic displays fine btw.

Cheers,

Rich
