I'm trying to clear static collision boxes but I can't find a command to do it. I need to clear them all so I can create new ones for each level. Is there a way of deleting them?

there is no number assigned to a static box, so I would say no.

arghh, not good. Wish I had realised this before I started my collision code. Does anyone know if patch 4 has or will have a command to delete them?

well static collision boxes aren't meant to be defined, the are only used for objects that will not be used. This is one reason why get static line of sight is so hard to use for bullets, because trying to hit a mobile enemy is impossible.

I highly doubt we will ever be able to delete them, unless each box is specefied a number. Or maybe there will be an "invert static collision box area" so it removes the static collision from a certain place, that'd be neat...

I haven't looked at the code but I thought Uwdesigns method used delete static objects. Haven't looked at it though. DBPRo doesn't have this command anymore so if it does I won't be able to use it. Also DBPRo should really support deleting static collision boxes as standard. Even a command to wipe them all instead of individually would be fine.

Anyway I think I got a work around going but I'll check out that code snippet later tonight when I get home. Thanks for the info guys.
